The Wyatt Earp Band from Skellefteå, with their Blind Lemon Jefferson dedicated song "See you in hell blind boy". This song was recorded in 1988 by Kjell Nästén in KN Studio, and was released the same year on Skellefteå Music Associations LP "R & R" (stands for Rock & Roll).

Many stories have been told through the years, how the band was formed, various members, and other more or less true speculations about The Wyatt Earp Band. Here is the true story:

The band was formed by leadsinger Lars Lundberg back in -86. He was looking for some people for a band with their roots in blues and a touch of southern rock. Lundberg, who had just broken up with his former band, 7 VOLT, asked the two guitarists in the band, L-M Hedström and lefthand Freddie, if they were interested since they had quite similar taste in music (old blues and southern rock). They liked the idea and accepted with a smile.

Now all they needed was a rhythmsection. So Lundberg asked Nicklas Bränberg and Jörgen Lindström, and they joined Lundberg, Hedström and Norlund in the original setting of The Wyatt Earp Band.
After that, bass players came and went, Jörgen was replaced by Micael Burman (play on the recording), which was replaced by Mikael "Sanna" Sandström, who was replaced by Peter Bergsten, who played with the band until the split in 2001. They played their last gig at the Burebaren in Bureå September 28, 2001.

The band members on the recording:

Lars Lundberg, vocals & harmonica
Fredrik "Fredde" Norlund, guitar
Lars-Magnus "Larsa" Hedström, guitar
Micael Burman, bass
Nicklas Bränberg, drums

EXTRA! EXTRA! EXTRA!
In the year of our Lord, 2010 another chapter was written in the story of The Wyatt Earp Band. In April 24 They did a reunion gig at Ostens Hus (House of cheese) in Burträsk (Cageswamp) in front of an enthusiastic (in Sweden we call it drunk) audience .... and there was much rejoicing!
