As soon as you see the 2009 Toyota Venza V6, you know what it is. So how come there are all these questions about whether it's a crossover, a minivan in disguise, a tall wagon or a soft-riding SUV? Really, get over it. Toyota brought it to us, not aliens from another planet.

Mark Cooledge knows what it is. The 34-year-old insurance network manager from Texas is finding life a little tight in his Toyota Camry with his wife and two small children. He isn't convinced his family needs a minivan, but he wants more space, more practicality. And maybe the Venza is it.

Cooledge is just the buyer Toyota was counting on when it designed the 2009 Toyota Venza, so we let him take the wheel with us so we could get past the labels and figure out what it does best.

American cars are shit, thats it. People make fun of Jap cars because they have small engines... okay lets get this straight. American cars have big engines because they're cheaply built and need it to make more power. Jap engines have small, well-built engines. My accord 3.5L v-6 has 280 hp. gets 25 mpg. My friends 2008 mustang 4.0L v-6 has 210 hp and gets 15 mpg. American cars are garbage and shouldn't be mentioned on a Toyota video.

Toyota should be ashamed of making this car. I have never seen a Toyota with lower quality than this thing..... ever. I keep reading horror stories about bad trannies, steering lines, and interior parts that don't line up properly. Sounds more like a chrysler than a Toyota to me....

I LOVE Toyota but seriously, I hope they fixed these quality issues with the mid cycle refresh for 2012...
