Laurence Sugarman Playing "Grandfather's Clock" on my pre-fire Fairbanks Whyte Laydie banjo, restored by Bernunzio Uptown Music in Rochester NY.
This banjo was my grandfather's all through college, and when I got it, it was missing inlays, had been patched up with wood filler, and was generally beat.
So this is a testimonial to Bernunzio's work and Laurences playing, and to my dad, Bill Sellers (seen towards the end of the video) who helped get this whole project going. There will be a cd of several excellent banjo players featured on this instrument released in the near future.
