  • This was wonderfully done! That little boy was just the most precious thing and so perfect for this documentary, I learned so much

  • Glad you liked it. That little boy is now 16 and ever so slightly embarrassed every time I refer to his performance here. We returned to the village in 2004 and made another video 5 years on from this one. Hopefully we'll get back there again next year to see how life is 10 years on.

  • WHERE WAS THIS VIDEO SHOT PLIZ

  • The video was shot in the Wedza district, Mashonaland East Province

  • This brings back memories of days gone by - thanks!!!

  • Thanks for your comment, Mandirunga. Later today I'll be adding some music I recorded in Zimbabwe from 1987 onwards. Frank

  • ......My Irish-American professor commented on the marvelous disposition of Colm & Norah who conducted themselves like professional journalists in things that were not customary to the Irish. I was mobbed with praises for an excellent presentation all because of the impact Colm & Norah video had on the whole class. The project had 100 points and I scored highest with 99% after a point deduction for my public speaking abilities. This is a must-have-video for a Zimbabwean living in western world.

  • Wow! This is awesome documentary for educational purposes. In my 4th year in Nursing School this semester in USA, one of the projects I was required to complete was to select a country in the world and talk about their culture, their way of life and the impact professional nursing can have. I searched everywhere for material relevant to Zimbabwean culture and could not find any. Then, while searching YouTube, I stumbled on Colm and Norah videos, and I knew I had struck gold.....
