Hearing this song summons up old but not forgotten wounds of a broken heart, it digs right into my being, as if it happened yesterday. The power of music , the greatest of the arts, emotions don't stand a chance of hiding from a voice like hers

@phototrope23 Now I'm 54, and the song still hits that base nerve--your description as prescient is right on target.

"I should have known from the first, I'd be the broken-hearted." and "And all the prayers in the world can save us." my,my, my,my.... That song, those lines pass all jealousy tests--by far my favorite song by Nicks and Mac.
Thanks for the upload.

I like to drive at night when it's snowing and play this song. It sets a cool mood. B-)

What a pretty, pretty song. Every night you do not come, the softness fades away. How stunning and realistically profound is that. Am humbled

All of the above AND in wasn't GTA that brought anyone here.
This song is pure soul, prescient, touched by the magic that stevie always courted. This song has been with me since I was 14. Now I'm 38 and sounds just as fresh, just as beautiful.

I think this and Silver Springs are some of her best writing- and that is saying a lot. It's a terrific mix of poetry and straight forward honesty.
