I just got a relaxer and I must say I love my progress. It's been almost 6 months since I cut my hair into a bob.. boy how time flies! Although this challenge ends in August (hopefully Ill be full shoulder length my next relaxer), I will be on a lifelong healthy hair journey so I ain't going no where!!:-)

My regimen still remains the same minus the Aphogee 2 minute re constructor.. I am laying off of it for awhile.

  • Great job on taking care of your hair. I wish I could take care of mine. But I can't follow those hair caare rules.

  • you use wigs

  • @Asbellgrad I used to feel the same way, but I kept going to all the black haircare sites, blogs and the YouTube vids, learning as much as I could about not only products, but proper techniques- finally determining the common threads of success among our long/healthy haired sistas. And once I started apply those techniques, with dicipline and patience, I started seeing results in one year, than I had in 4. Check out my Fotki album: KYMELLE for an idea of my own hair growth/health journey. HTH
