Connecting USB Flash Drive to IPAD

I did not know that you can connect the flash drive to the Ipad so I tried and it worked as shown and I thought its nice to share if you know about it sorry to waste ur time

For everyone: you need a jailbreak to access files like this. If you have an iPhone 4S - you can't. If you have an iPad 2 - u need 4.3.3.

I just got the ipad 2 , bought camera connection kit, plugged in usb 16GB flash memory stick but it doesnt recognize it at all ? Do I need to jailbreak ?

Does this allow you to watch videos in avi./wmv/mp4 format? And can you open the files with other app instead of ifile?
