@supercooled It was only for one home game they were wearing the dark jerseys, the home team usually has the option to decide which sweater they wear for their home games.
BTW, coach Wayne Cashman was celebrating, but not for long; the next day, Cashman was demoted to assistant coach & the late Roger Neilson was brought in to coach the team for the rest of that season...

Why were they wearing away jerseys at home? It was 1998, I didn't think they started doing this that early.
I think this guy had some raw talent but he never worked or tried to adapt it to the NHL calibre. Right now we have guys like Nazem Kadri who may have been a star in the juniors but suck ass in the big leagues because they haven't brought their play to the next level.
