  • 30,000 American deaths In 1968 we lost 28,000 more after trying not to lose our first war.

America is a difernt country than we were then. our military are all volunters Only 1 out of 5 people that volunter are accepted. The military Offers training That helps a young man mature and become a leader. We have service members that have deployed 5 or 6 times since 2001.

  • As of 30 September 2010, 1,430,895 people were on active dutyAs of 2012, the United States has a total resident population of 312,967,000, So verry small percentage of the population is defending the whole.

  • Thank you for uploading this footage, wars have always been with man. by 1970 many Americans had lost the feeling that we were fighting to win. the six mounth rotation of officers cost american lives it took time to get up to speed and understand the tactics and at the 90 day mark half there command time was over. The US fought 10 one year wars instead of one 10 year war ww2 was fought for the duration but one year in nam was more intense than some ww2 vets saw all war
