A stunningly beautiful visual journey across New Zealand's North and South islands is accompanied by a haunting string track and voiceover which reveals how many members of the All Blacks squad come from each of the various towns and villages. "Southbridge, two All Blacks... Wellington, 153 All Blacks..." One location at a time we come to see the patchwork of communities that contribute to the spirit of New Zealand's legendary rugby team. As the spot closes, an overhead shot reveals how squares of turf taken from each of the local rugby pitches have been joined to form the playing field under the squad and the unifying strapline "France 2007. Impossible is Nothing" completes the odyssey.

  • They forgot to mention the Tongan, Fijian and Samoan All Blacks!

  • I don't care about rugby at all, but that's a brilliant advert.

  • @ROB2935 Granted that may be the case but if you look at the places where they were brought up and first started playing rugby it is NZ. NZ is also like a central area of governance for smaller pacific islands That is why a lot of families move away from places like Fiji (where I am) because we can go to NZ and get a better quality of life and get citizen ship very easily. So its not poaching, they don't come here and select players, or offer them incentives, they leave on their own accord.

  • Their, not there.

And it doesn't make a difference where they have played most of their rugby. The long and the short of it, is that New Zealand poach the best players from the islands, which lowers the standards in those countries.

It also undermines the claim of best players in the world being home grown. Bot saying others don't do it. But at least we admit their heritage.

  • And where did they play all there Rugby???

  • @icedvovo8 cool story bro.

  • @icedvovo8 Mils Muliaina: Place of birth: Salesi, Western Samoa.

Josevata Rokocoko: Place of birth: Nadi, Fiji.

Malili Muliaina: Place of birth: Salesi, Western Samoa

Sitiveni Sivivatu: Place of birth: Suva, Fiji

Isaia Toeava: Place of birth: Moto’otua, Samoa. So wind your neck in and admit that you steal the best players from the Islands. And for the record, calling me a "Racist English Wanker" is slightly ironic, don't you think? Let's hope you choke AGAIN, and at home! Brilliant!

  • @ROB2935 tru tru rob lol

  • Fucken cool ad man, I'm guuna go run! haha

  • i wanna play on that last pitch :D looks beautiful :)

  • @acivilcampaign thats how brilliant rugby is!!

  • You racist English Dickhead! So now matter how many generations someones family may live in NZ they are not allowed to be called NZers? Racist English wanker! You might as well call all the white players the English, Irish and Welsh All Blacks!
