Dr.Gorzkowski's last interview

Dr. Waldemar Gorzkowski was the president of the International Physics Olympiad. He passed away on July 15th 2007 in Isfahan.I had an interview with him about a month before the IPhO competitions.

It was the first time I was doing an interview. Fortunately it went smoothly. When I had no questions left, he asked me a couple of questions; Where I'm studying, What medal I've won in IOI...

I shook his hand saying good-bye, not knowing that this would be the last time I'd see him.

When I heard the news of his death I was just shocked. The IPhO program wasn't over yet. I knew I had to do something about it. I was hoping they would show this on the closing ceremony in Isfahan, but I failed to send it on time. I thought I just can't let the interview lie there in my closet. So I've uploaded it here.

He was a really nice old man. I regret his loss. I pray that God will show mercy upon his sole. And if his wife would ever be reading this, I would like to express my sorrow.
