TheLatest.TV- Brighton Lights 23: Daniel Sloss, Brighton Rock, Gary Moore

This week's Brighton Lights is our 23rd issue and it's our biggest ever. In this show we meet comedy's new kid on the block. He used to write for Frankie Boyle but now he's just as brilliant and a little bit controversial on his own. As Jimmy Carr said the sickeningly talented 20 year old Daniel Sloss.

Then we're on the red carpet at the Duke of York's with John Hurt, Andrea Riseborough and Sam Riley at the opening of the most famous movie ever about our city, Brighton Rock. And then we meet the Brighton film-makers who are turning Hollingbury into Hollywood - Brighton's Filmmakers Coalition. Lastly, we get tattooed and married, not necessarily at the same time.

Sadly we also have a tribute to Brighton's greatest guitarist ever, I don't think anyone will dispute that, in fact we'll go further - one of the greatest guitarists of all time, the man responsible for Parisienne Walkways and my personal favourite with Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy, Still In Love With You. The late great Gary Moore. He was a humble guy, often playing in The Ranelagh Pub in St James Street, the home of the Brighton Country and Blues scene. We have some pretty much unseen footage of him playing in Brighton as a guest with Brighton band The Perils recorded late last year. He was simply the best.
