Chris Edmands Interview on "Deeper" - the Movie

LeewardCinema.com director Chris Edmands works with Jeremy Jones and Protect Our Winters and produced the first "human powered snowboard video" with Jeremy, and riders Tom Burt, Dave Downing, Markku Koski, Shayne Pospisil, and more. Interviewed by Lauren Traub Teton.

Deeper is his new big mountain snowboard film featuring Jeremy Jones with a handpicked group of elite riders including Jonaven Moore, Travis Rice and Xavier De La Rue, who set out to conquer the best lines without the limited assistance of snowmobiles, helicopters or lifts.
The production crew must also use solar chargers and other technology to be able work for extended periods in the backcountry, away from the comforts of modern society. Being away from electrical outlets for such long stretches really forced us to plan differently. But if it wasnt for all that, Deeper wouldnt be half as unique, said Director of Photography Chris Edmunds.
