  • bro dont be so negative about college graduates .. some employes actually preffer college graduates than to hire someone who has worked in certain field for more than 10 yrs because they could pay the college grad way less ! :) we cant be all negative .. even if the world is falling we need to stay positive :) !

  • I'm not trashing college grads. I'm a grad, too. But the fact of the matter is that these colleges and universities are over-charging for tuition. They're a rip off.

A degree isn't what it use to be.

  • I strongly disagree with you. Have you ever heard of the phrase:'Survival of the fittest'. Humans have been through worse. This is not the first time there has been a recession and I am confident that humans can get through this although there will be enormous difficulties, there is always light at the end of the tunnel

  • "This is not the first time there has been a recession"

This is not a recession, and I never said that we could not get through this.

But America's status will be significantly lower.

  • @bluebird787 Put them in debt for deficit spending.

  • This is the reason college grabs have to life off top ramen. =P

  • Yeah, of course colleges overcharge.

My physics book is $192 (I just got an ebook) and my physics professor always says other countries don't charge like US does. It's as if they treat education like a business, instead of something to be prised.

  • @FoolishInTheEnd The goal of college is to make you well rounded, the goal of an internship is to help you strength a specialized skill. Internships are great for that, I want to get into one some day.

  • @bluebird787 taxes on one of my grandma's houses were raised $1000 this year. -_-

    Shit sucks.

  • Actually in my honest opinion a college degree is pretty useless unless you go beyond that to graduate school or professional school. Employers want people with experience, as a graduate u have little to no working experience beyond that of menial part time jobs. In retrospect, knowing what i know now i would have joined clubs and participated in many more opportunities like internships to get that experience that employers look for.

  • i am in the same situation trust me you are not the only one there are millions of people just like us.

my best advise is not to give up and keep searching

  • I will teach you how to date a romantic girls
