One of those poor people was actually sucked into the blower and blended by the engine. Rumour has it the engine had to be dismantled to enable him to be poured out of the cylinders and exhausts. Mashed by the blower gears and then tenderised to a pulp in the cylinders, what an experience!

@whiteknuckles717 sorry, wrong. that was troy critchley. he faced many legal issues over this. The promotor is most to blame but troy is a seasoned drag racer, he knew this was very risky and really shold have known better. Now he has to live with blood on his hands. His legal wow's are over now but the families are no doubt going to sue. His career is over. Shame. And the people know this isn't the safest thing in the world. They HAD to know they were too close to car.

I've had this view for years in relation to street racing fatalities:
Go to the dragstrip, and stand on the edge of a lane at the 1/4 mile mark, right before the tree lights up before a top fuel race. See what happens when the officials go apeshit on you. Cops would probably try to pin you with some form of negligence.
Why did the driver and event staff think this situation was different?
I don't like to comment on fatal videos, but this was preventable on so many common-sense levels.
