  • That ladder pipe sure did a fine job of watering the lawn.

  • When you see this it makes you glad you live in a community that takes its fire protection seriously..

  • Shitty build homes.

  • No hoses going in around back to tackle the fire...WTFH?

  • should have put a deck gun in front

  • @Homeboy414 i agree in this case and others like it

  • @eh7fdboy Agree, the ladder was useless. However, I slightly disagree with your "never push the fire to the unburned side". The idea behind this saying sounds great in theory. However, many times FF's are faced with limited options, an aggressive interior attack from the unburned side would have been the best for this situation. Seeing the fire already consumed both the first and the second story in the back, (2) 2.5" lines on the "burning" side would have made a KD.

  • Since about 1970 or so, houses were built very cheaply. Not so much in selling price, but quality of construction. Laminated ceilings, staples instead of nails, cheap drywall and etc. Go to the basement when someone is walking around upstairs and hear the cheapness! Laminated ceilings that sag and eventually fall. Older houses were built better but, ones that are 60-100 years old have very unsafe electrical wiring. Open a wall and you will likely see rotted wire mounted on insulators. Fire hazard

  • Now a couple of things they did right attack the fire from the front it in the back you never push a fire into unburnt parts of the house and this video doesn't show the beginning part of the fire put in my opinion ladder should not have been used

  • @Skankpronger Yeah. Too bad for the un-level ground.

  • if that ladder was on other side this house would been saved

  • light weight trusses. The contractor sold them a disposable house. Sad for the home owner and their insurance agent.
