Boss Micro BR Bass Funk

I just got the micro to record some bass tracks. The Boss Micro BR is not a bad portable 4 track recording system.

Genesis That's damn good bass playing! Great technique , I'm a bass player myself, and tried my bass thru the BR and the Bass tone sounded weak, made me think it could not handle the low frequency of the Bass, should I try something different or a different setting? Yours sounded very good.

@genmed42 Thanks. When I purchased the micro br I felt the same way since it was advertise for the six string guitar. What I did was select one the bass tracks (78 thru 80) and edit the volume of the virtual track for the bass to 100 percent. Also, thru mastering you can increase the volume and quality of the whole song. I hope this help.

@genmed42 Play around with the reverb effects to find the exact tone you're looking for. It will help you with the bass high and low tones.

Sunburstfender yeah I did the rhythm and lead on the song but I'm not really a good guitar player. Bass guitar is were it's at. LoL

@genesisstar81 I hear you I'm been practicing a lot on the bass but my timing is somewhat off, but I can hear your timing is dead on. Your guitar playing is not bad either. Are you going to post any more music?

The song has a nice groove to it. I didn't know the BR could handle the low tone of the bass. Did you play the guitar in the track too?
