@cac0017 My point is this: If you want to disagree with what I believe, fine. However, make sure you get the teaching that you disagree with right first. Catholics do not worship Mary, nor do we think she is divine. I cannot make it any clearer than that. If you disagree with the saints being in heaven, fine. No meaningful discussion can take place until you at least know what you are talking about first. Come back here when you learn what the church teaches first and then we can talk more.

To anyone who would like to debate me I am just not interested in endless posting. I'm gonna save us time and say I agree to disagree with all of you. You won't convince me and I won't convince you. We cannot have a coherent discussion when you are unwilling to at least look at what the church teaches. it just befuddles me how people can think that we say that Mary is divine and we worship her. You're obviously not interested in knowing the truth about authentic Catholic teaching. No deal sir.

@cac0017 We are in complete agreement that Mary is not Divine, this has always been Catholic teaching. So what's the problem? The Catholic church formulated the books of the Bible and it determined which was to be included in the canon of Scripture and which ones were not. Again, you people are not interested in learning what is true and what is false. I DO NOT worship Mary. We both know we will get nowhere because we are both entrenched in our positions. I agree to heartily disagree with you.

@BrotherAlphonsusMary Ok, maybe you do not "worship" her to your knowledge but nowhere in God's Holy Bible does it tell us she is divine or that we should pray to her. A statue of her is going against one of Gods ten commandments Exodus 20:4: "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below." Jesus gets all the Glory and praise. The saints cant here you they are dead. Believe the bible ALONE...

@kenatlunch Agreed, and we can call her 'just a vessel' and at the same time acknowledge that she has a part in God's plan for your salvation. I so agree with you. For me personally I can call her a vessel and, for me anyways, it simultaneously means that she does indeed have a part in God's plan. Thanks for your comments!

@MINIMINE1 Yes, it is okay to say that Mary is the vessel. He was born in her after all. A perpetual Virgin before, during and after the birth of Jesus. There is nothing wrong with saying she is a vessel.

@kryceksangel Agreed. Catholics should know that Mary cannot, and would not interfere in our relationship with Jesus. Her only desire is to help us love Him more and together, to worship Him. I DO NOT worship Mary. I don't know how many times this lie and misconception has to be beat down. Nobody will even look for themselves. They are so brainwashed by false teaching fed to them they are blind to the fact that they are wrong.
