You're missing the point - This is for when the WR is about to run by you and at this point you're about to give up a big play. Yes, if dude comes back he'll be open but that's ok. You can't defend everything and at least you didn't give up a TD.
The coach in this clip is Gene Stallings. If you don't know who he is you should Google him and maybe you'll see how good this guy is.
