Close up commercials in the 70's and 80's were classics. The models were so wholesome. Can someone post them pls.

Yes, I remember this was in the summer of 1991. I remember it so well because it was the first time I fell in love and I kept on singing this song that summer. :)

@ejazz1234 I think this was before 1988, when Close Up wasn't with Lintas yet. The award winning TVC of Close Up for 1988 featured "Close to You"... the next commercial was "When I fall In Love".....

Mga commercial dati kaya nilang makalusot kahit na yung product at yung ginagawa ng mga model dun sa commercial ay di tugma. Isang beses nga lang pinakita yung ipin nung babae eh. hay naku miss those days.

@lianlaspinas yup, yun ata kuha sa Greece, yung puti yung mga house tapos clear blue sky. Tsaka kung meron ka din yung CM ng The Bar coolers, i like the jingle there.

I also beg to disagree. I worked for McCann advertising from the late '80s up to '95 and I am very certain that this was only broadcasted this ad in the SUMMER OF 1991. "Just a Smile Away" was used in 1990 and another one was used before that.
It doesn't matter how good this ad was now, knowing that the new Kimerald ad RUINED THE NOSTALGIA of the original. Spongecola's version DESTROYED THE ORIGINAL MEANING OF THE SONG. This should have never been remade.

this came out summer of 91, yes i agree, i was (still am) a big fan of the commercial model here. raffy ladao, you rock!! *mwah!!*
