  • have you seen wicked yet? did you get to see kerry when she came back from broadway?? i was lucky to see her before she went to broadway, and she was awsome, but ive just been to see it again and i have to say that alexia khadime is phenomenal - if you havent seen the show yet then i would recommend you go and see alexia, and if you did see kerry when she was in it then i would still say go and see alexia, bacause she is such a different elphie and is extraordinary in her own way! :D

  • i can see the point you're making too, but i spose it just depends on your own opinion. i think a lot of it came after her basically asking the audience to cheer half way through wizard and I (i think that was june 7th.....), and the audience took that as the OK to cheer in the middle of the other songs.

but as you said, only kerry knows what she wants, and she'll hopefully let people know on may 9th, but im sure it'll be an INCREDIBLE show either way!!

  • I honestly can see the point you're making, but I am still of the view point that the support should come after different songs (who knows, it is possible that after songs such as NGD or For Good that the applause carries on for a good while), which is when it should come.

I think personally (though, as none of us are her we wouldn't know) that she wouldn't be exactly happy with her last performance of these songs being destroyed for the vast majority of the audience by a small minority.

  • i know!! ADORABLE!

  • but she's done it without any noise throughout any of the songs 8 times a week, almost every week of the past 2 and a half years, so I don't think the audience showing their support for her on ONE of these days (two if u include june 7th), is really going to make that much difference!

it's her last EVER performance of Wicked, and it should be one she never forgets. and personally, i find it utterly outrageous the ushers send people out for cheering. if ur not going to support her, dont come.

  • Nah, to be honest, if it were me I'd feel crap that everyone was basically ruining a song by screaming through it. Afterward songs and after show and stuff is fine, that's the general way with theatre, but in the middle of songs isn't really the way to go. I'm just hoping that on the 9th May this year the ushers are able to keep this fangirl clan under control or there will be a lot of disgruntled audience members.

  • this is actually making me want to cry, oliver's so cute!

  • I love Oliverr :D

  • I've heard she's pretty awesome. So far I've obviously only seen Kerry and CJ though. I wouldn't mind seeing Ashleigh, only my sister would love to see Kerry because she's yet to see her. If Kerry's not playing, Wicked will still be awesome, but if she is playing it'll make the trip so much better. Hehehe.

I want to see Wicked moooore, but it's too expensive to travel down. :( I wish I lived closer to London. :P

The show was good yesterday then? :D What was your favourite bit? =O
