cute little thing, but not worth thirty bucks. plus, how precise is it, or does it just pick up general bass tones?

It's actually quite sensitive to sound in general, but not specific frequencies you'd normally associate with vox over music...the reason it's not a full song video is, once everything kicks in, it's just noise to Tengu - it only really works when the dominant sound is the vox melody.
I also noticed that it needs a decent USB power feed to work properly - running it off a hub at first powered it, but ruined the sensitivity.
It's pure tat, not really worth the money, but cute all the same :)
