There is to much focus on women as victim and not enough focus on women as both victim and abuser, of their children and their partner. This communication perversion must stop if we are to truly over come domestic violence.

When I became impregnated tho I was told I had premature menopause & could never have, THE MAN TOLD ME HE WOULD PAY FOR THE ABORTION. So no, women don't make the choice to kill unborn children 100%. Some women would be bullied to do it, & psycholgoically (due to violent upbringings) do it because the man says to, and they believe it will keep the "relationship" (ie ownership) going. Don't know where you get your 51% & 71% stats, but I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE I aint leaving my child with a man.

and what is the difference between a rapist and a violent boyfriend, as you call it? Both could be dangerous and neither of them respects the woman, so they are guilty in the same way.

I think that this video is really bad and not educational. The majority of violences against women occour at home, in the family, and not in the streets. And the frashion-look of photography and actors are really far from reality. It's not evocative, it's confusing. It surprises me that European Commission sponsored it.
