  • Hey man I like that 53 ford. My grandpa had one just like that one. His had the V8 but his was automatic. I really like that car and it sounds good with that flat head.

  • In Canada the '54 Ford used the '53 Mercury 255 CID. In Europe the FH was used well into the 60's in Simca's military vehicles. Truly an outstanding motor and you gotta love the sound.

  • LORD have mercy that old 53 Flat Head is a credit to you, well done more postings please a fine car. The Red/Orange FORD v8 motor for USA was the last Year. Down here in Australia our 54 stayed with the FH until the 55 Customline went to V8 Y block 272/292 & 312 T Bird motors. 5 ***** FORDROAD AUSTALIA.
