A follow up video to our earlier post on Logic's automation system. Like it's companion video it's another from the early days of Make More Noise, so apologies again for the production values.

  • @JamesAndrewMuir No problem.. It was a must that I subscribe to this channel. Not only because you do tutorials about Logic but of the fact that you teach what most don't or try to with a great deal of understanding. I really do appreciate you taking the time to do so.

  • @OKLAHOMALOVE2 Much appreciated !! Thanks

  • awsome video man, its really helpful, I was wondering however, is there a way to automate say a release envelope parameter in a synthesizer with out doing it manually through a slider on a midi controller?

  • @M17Adj Hi, glad you liked it, if the synth in question is a soft synth hosted in Logic, the process is exactly the same as any other kind of automation. So you'd bring up your track make the automation visible, either by using the button at the top of the Logic screen or key command ( A ), then select the parameter you want to automate and away you go, if it's an external synth, it'll be midi controlled and specific to each synth.

Let me know if you need more ?
