All respect to Steve but the "no matter what he's your father" argument is utter crap. Respect should not be a birthright, and while shooting him would obviously be wrong, you should not have to like or respect a person simply because they share your DNA. It's behaviour that makes you a good or bad person in a rational thinker's eyes.
