YES IT'S THE BBQ SONG!
This song is a joke. It isn't meant to be serious. If you don't find it funny, fair enough. =]
Hi there, I wrote this song because I bet someone I could write a song in 15 minutes. It turned out to take me 1:45 minutes. Still I decided to put it up.
Sorry for the "slurping" noises in the background, the video is of poor quality. :)
Enjoy!
(P.S. I wrote this song BEFORE I heard the "Barbeque Sauce song" by wayco.)
--==|Lyrics|==--
Barbeque sauce, it's my favourite side,
From burgers to pasta, to anything fried,
Without it, I don't know, my dinner times would be blue,
No flavour, no fun, without my barbeque
Let me tell you a little story
Once upon a time, a young kid called Ben,
Was walking to McDonalds at quarter to ten,
He pulled out a note, and asked the cashier,
"One nugget meal, with Coke, and nothing else my dear."
The cashier gave dear Ben his Coke and his meal,
But out of the blue came a spin on the deal,
"No ketchup mate, you'll have to do with out,
Unless you want Barbeque, you'll have to have 'nowt."
Now Ben cocked his head, confused at the gesture,
He said: "What am I supposed to do without my ketchup texture",
But the cashier just sighed and gave him the fateful dip,
That would make him never regretful this wonderful trip,
So Ben dipped into the sauce with his chips in hesitation,
The barbeque lingered, but to his salvation,
The sauce tasted good, no even better, it was amazing,
And many years later he's still feeling like praising
Chorus:
Barbeque sauce, it's my favourite side,
From burgers to pasta, to anything fried,
Without it, I don't know, my dinner times would be blue,
No flavour, no fun, without my barbeque
The additives, the colourings, the sugars, the salt,
They keep me up all night, but it ain't my fault,
The caramel, the tomato, the sweeteners too,
But without it, for sure, my dinner times would be blue,
You can have it on bacon, you can have it on mash,
You 'll love it on anything if you'll give it a smash,
But for sure, once you've tried it you'll never go back,
To ketchup or brown sauce, nothing else has the knack of my
Chorus:
Barbeque sauce, it's my favourite side,
From burgers to pasta, to anything fried,
Without it, I don't know, my dinner times would be blue,
No flavour, no fun, without my barbeque
Bridge:
But one day older Ben, went into the shop,
And found his beloved barbeque to be out of stock,
They said they'd never heard of it, that it was all his imagination,
So he wrote this song for every nation
If only I had my sauce poor Ben said,
My mash potatoes look weird without the red,
Without my Barbeque sauce,
Without my sauce,
Chorus: (x2)
Barbeque sauce, it's my favourite side,
From burgers to pasta, to anything fried,
Without it, I don't know, now what I'm going to do,
No flavour, no fun, without my barbeque
Oh Barbeque, Barbeque, how I miss you...
Thanks for the comments guys!
Hope you enjoyed it. =)
