Mortal Kombat 9 2011 Kombat Pass Is Bull Shit

Warner Brothers is charging a fee to play online for gamers who bought a used copy of Mortal Kombat . XBox 360 gamers already pay a fee to Microsoft with their XBox Live Gold membership. What the fuck?

Mortal Kombat is following a dangerous trend that needs to be stopped. Does anyone know a good lawyer who wants some money from disgruntled gamers?

What is worse is that they screwed up the region 3 packaging and didnt include the kombat passes! And since the store i bought it from didnt want to give it and WB wouldnt help, ive to buy the pass! And it was a NEW GAME!

While I will agree that it is not cool, publishers make 0 on a used game, so I understand why they did it. still suck for us broke gamers but it is a trend that I feel will start making it's way into more multiplayer games as things move forward.

@oniyashidoji But see the way the system is set up when you buy entertainment like a DVD or video game you are buying a license to view/play that product. When you sell it you are selling your license.

Companies may not make money off used games, so what? It's not the same as someone pirating a game, Yeah, I see this weeseling its way into a lot more games and I also see the legality of this practice being challenged in court.

meh...its not so bad, i mean im not paying for online cuz i own a ps so i dont mind. on the other hand i would be pissed if i was paying for xbl...
