Disney's Buzz Lightyear has returned from the International Space Station after a 15 month stay. Buzz's mission doesn't end there! Disney has been imagineering new and innovative ways to get kids excited about space, and Buzz will play a fundamental role in that vision.

well i guess they need to do SOMETHING to gain the interest of the public again. right now, there's not very much that is very publicly lending to interesting people in the aerospace. all the aero news is either the space shuttle launching, or a plane crash. and of course the continual delays of 787 dreamliner. and no one is very excited to continually show up to the airport and receive less service for their dollar (granted i understand the financial position of the airlines but makes bad pr).
