Gee, that ***Dark*** guy sure is an aggressive player. In most of the races I played where he was present, I was doing okay until I got bumped off the track somewhere along the line, and I'd find myself unable to recover.

I find it difficult to use lightweights, and the Blue Falcon is a kart I just unlocked (same goes for Toadette), so I'd have a rough time with this. But as they say, you have to go down before you can go up. That means I'm going to practice a bit more with this kart and with lightweights so I know what to do when this bumping happens in the future.

Koopa Cape
That was supposed to be MY race...I was supposed to be in it. I got disconnected aorund the first lap, and I went back into this room.

Race #1
Mushroom Gorge
It doesn't take long for him to ram me off the course; it happens in the first lap over here. I stupidly chose to use a Mushroom in the bouncy cave portion, and that's clearly my fault. I wonder how well I would've placed if I saved my Mushrooms for the grass on the final hairpin turn instead of in the cave.

Race #2
N64 Bowser's Castle
Over the first lap, I represented by far the strongest showing for a kart in this race. Then, as the second lap began, I heard an "Alriiiight!!" in the background, which is not a good sign, as I had inferred by this point. And it wasn't, for I was bumped off into the lava.

I'm sure ***Dark*** isn't doing this intentionally or that he's even aware that this bumping is causing me to fall off. But wow, even on stages without a lot of places to fall off, he manages to bump me off where there are.

  • Great matches! I always love seeing Toadette race on anything. ^^

Oh, and I have one small (And stupid) question :

How do you get that momentary view of what is behind you, before going back to first person again? Do you press a button on the Wiimote? I use the Wii Wheel, so there may not be one...thanks in advance~

  • Yeah. Using the Wii Wheel, you press the A button to look behind you.

  • why couldn't you just skip all that stuff in the beginning? otherwise it's a good video.

  • To point out that I was previously disconnected and that I shoud've been in that race without it.

  • Does Toad really say Yeah-haha? cause it sounds more like Ha-haha

  • Ah, okay thanks. (For the fast reply as well) ^^

  • Nearly every bowser's castle stage has that bridge at the beginning that causes lightweight characters to be easily bumped off. However, the "Papapapa" noise Toadette made when she fell off was quite funny.

  • Indeed. I used to neglect Birdo myself, but now s/he(heard some weird stories on Birdo's gender. o.0) has pretty much become my most common choice..

  • Birdo's awesome.

  • Well, whenever I get a Lightning Cloud, after 3 seconds, I just stop and wait for some loser to hit me. It's cheap, but it works.

  • Yesterday, in a race on Daisy Circuit, I saw him in 2nd place activate Triple Green Shells and instead of using them as a shield or firing them at the person in 1st, just stopped when I was right behind him. I want to believe that he's not doing this on purpose, but geez, seeing that was infuriating.
