I know i was thinking this too, this actually really insults apples intelligence to other software, shows they have little experience and are unaware of whats on the market already...how on earth would they know how to update and make things better if they don't know what a PC does already, shame. TBH Mac cannot read other language if anything, i can insert an SD card straight into my machine...can Mac? nope, you have to put the SD into something (camera) then plug that in.
this add is not a lie. stuff does work out of the box with a mac. on a windows machine, you need drivers. yeah so it means the drivers are pre-installed. either way at least i'm not hunting around for that bloody driver disk each time i buy a printer, as i have to on my crappy win machines.
