  • this looks like the cdi version which i have one of the best ports of the game

  • You know, they've released all three Mad Dog games on a compalation disk on the Wii. It's called "Mad Dog McCree," Of course.

  • @ScrewAttackEurope Well, you have to admit that the name wii hasn't hurt sales of the system much. In the U.S. at least. Here wii outsells the other systems.

Was that PS1 ad you mentioned for real? Sounds like your sense of humor to me. :)

I seem to remember one of the gaming magazines showing a pic of a fake Sega console. It had an add on for the Dreamcast that looked like the 32X. . I think they called it the Sega Uranus. :)

    STAY AWESOME! :)

  • @cessnaace Indeed, anything named after a vicious animal or a cool weapon is automatically cool. Sega also named their Saturn based arcade machines "Titan" (one of Saturn's moons)

But I think what stopped them was Sony's PS1 ad, "If you want a Saturn, your head must be in Uranus" :D

Dreamcast is possibly the second worst name for a console in history (after the Wii) I mean Dreamcast sounds like some kind of Hippy paraphernalia.

  • @ScrewAttackEurope That's the first I've heard of the Mars. Good thing Sega stopped naming systems after planets with the Saturn. Having the Sega Uranus just wouldn't have been as awesome as the Sega Dreamcast, although Katana may have been their coolest choice.

I think the Jaguar was one of the coolest names given to a console, not that it helped Atari sell consoles much.

    STAY AWESOME mate! :)

  • @cessnaace The Neptune was a 32X/Genesis combines, no CD add-on. and the 32X was called the Mars at one point, infact if you open the cart port and look inside, it says "Mars" still!

  • @ScrewAttackEurope Wasn't that what the cancelled Neptune was supposed to be? I don't think Sega could have supported the Neptune AND the Saturn, as it appears they were planning.

    STAY AWESOME mate! :)

  • @cessnaace The Sega CD was possibly one of the worst ever machines for FMV. In reality, Sega should have combined the power of the 32X into the Sega CD. If that had happened it may have been an entirely different story!!!

  • @ScrewAttackEurope The CD-i and I have never met. lol.

There was an MPEG-1 decoder for the 3DO, which allows the playing of VCDs but I never got one. But back to the subject at hand. Grainy video. Something the Sega CD is guilty of as well.

    STAY AWESOME mate! :)
