Mau tree planting drive

The much anticipated tree planting launch in Mau forest took place on Friday after days of uncertainty and political bickering. Prime minister Raila Odinga led government officials and other invited dignitaries in launching the campaign aimed at restoring forest cover on 10, 000 acres in the Mau complex. NTVs Brenda Mulinya reports.

Counting Raila's and Kibaki's hits and forgetting the misses aint my thingy. I support the tree planting exercise (for a fact - meaning it can be proven) but just because everyone is planting trees doesnt mean I should join the bandwagon.

Its a shame for those leaders who didn't attend the tree planting in Mau. I Thought the president would have put everything else on hold to attend this function? Ope he attends the next function. Keep it up Hon PM, wacha 2012 ifike...

Raila aint doing me a favor by planting trees...its something he should have done so many years ago....most civil servants dont do their job and when they do, Most of us start feeling like we owe them. Never. Kenya desperately need leaders have welfare of her citizen's at heart.Time to stand up and be counted. Wangari's hobby is planting trees(good thing) my passion is empowering needy young mothers and their children.
