backyard 2010

This is video from my backyard garden from late summer 2010.
At the moment, there's no voice-over or music. I hope to change that in the near future (any suggestions about open source video editing software for macs osx.4 would be swell.
After some years on this plot of ground I have finally come up with a plan. I am creating a "forest garden" type of yard. The previous uploads will show stages of growth and a drastic increase in number of plants The trees are still fairly young; some planted in the spring. The quantity of produce has been fairly good and it keeps growing, however, there has not been a large supply of any one crop and the variety of fruit production is incredible. From berries to pit fruit, nuts, greens, medicines (no, not that kind. I still live in Utah), peppers, roots, herbs, and spices... with corns and grains (that also add biomass) in the lot next door. Oh, and some other compost crops too. I'm sure there's some other kinds like the just pretty ones... well they're biomass... near the sewage overflow pipe (didn't feel so good about planting edibles near that).
