From my site, www.lookgreat-loseweight-savemoney.com, this video explains the importance of taking key antioxidant vitamin supplements. They are essential for beauty and health care. I have no makeup on in this video, so take a close look at my skin, hair, and nails. Antioxidants are vital. They protect your body against degeneration and disease and also strengthen your immune system! http://www.lookgreat-loseweight-savemoney.com/vitamin-supplements.html

  • @mariadc075 Thanks Hope! I tried to find you on facebook but there are a lot of Hope Love's out there. You can find me by looking for Carolyn Hunter Dickerson on FB. XO Carolyn

  • Emergen-C is not so wonderful. It's FIRST ingredient is FRUCTOSE and has tons of ascorbic acid, which isn't great for an alkaline diet. It does work well with nasty tasting oils (primrose, cod liver, etc), but healthy? Good for you? I switched to ester-c (Solgar's)

  • @bootfruity Actually, the first ingredient is Vitamin C and then a huge list of B vitamins. Fructose is first on the list of 'other ingredients, true. I believe its used as a binding agent only. Its not high fructose corn syrup. I am very familiar with Solgar's products and they are fantastic! The problem with Ester C is that it doesn't have the B vitamins in it. Many people, including myself, have a hard time taking B vitamins as a tablet or capsule. That's why Emergen-C's so great!

  • I like your Channel concept as a person with little--if any, disposable income, I really do, but I'm also trying to make sense of a contradiction I think you make. You say that you stay away from multivitamins and take what you need individually, but U take Emergen-C to get your B vitamins??? After your video, I went to check my Women's 1-A Day and was appallled at all the silicone, sugar + TALC in the vitamins! Perhaps $8/250 pills isn't such a good deal after all. so what's next?

  • @bootfruity I don't know what to tell ya. Fructose is not the first ingredient on my package... hmmmm.... Its the first on the list of 'other ingredients'. The way I see it, is that we can't do everything to protect our health that we would like, with money constraints holding us back and other variables... but we do what we can. And it helps! (II hope!) Merry Christmas! (btw!)

  • preciosa, you look great!

  • @notaditdot Probably prior. Actaully, my friend, the first ingredient PERIOD is fructose. You can buy this stuff in a whopping 94 pack at Sam's Club for $15.84 (I bought 2). The FIRST INGREDIENT ON THE LABEL IS FRUCTOSE, THEN Vitamin C, THEN ascorbic acid (made in a lab and structurally different from natural VC. Disappointed at the ingredients, I returned to a clerk who advised that if I had a problem with high sugars and fillers, just don't buy Food & Drugs from Sam's (and he doesn't).
