Why put WELLNESS in Weight management?
Thats a good question.
I am happy to be getting a good response from these videos,but, yesterday, I was talking by email to a lady who didn't understand why I teach Wellness Wgt. Mgt. I want to explain. When young, I didn't relate weight to health.
Now I know that Overweight leads to Obesity, Diabetes, Heart disease, another words Health Issues. This is more than worrying about how we look. (I Admit-Wanted Pretty Clothes & I have always been concerned with how I look) Weighing too much may increase your risk for developing many health problems. If you are overweight or obese, you may be at risk for:
type 2 diabetes
coronary heart disease and stroke
metabolic syndrome
certain types of cancer
sleep apnea
osteoarthritis
gallbladder disease
fatty liver disease
pregnancy complications +
Leads to Premature death
You may be able to lower your health risks by losing weight, doing regular physical activity, and eating healthfully. Or--Wellness Another thing, If your body has the correct nutrition, It can do the job for us in burning the fat.
If it doesn't have what it needs,
It Can't --Period.
