  • Years ago I approached UFCW to try and organize a Houston Whole Foods grocery store.

    The unionization process is a deck so stacked against even the prospect of taking the risk of organizing...I never could even get a solid handful of co-workers to see an organizing drive as a serious option (and in the years that followed, WF's unionbusting fervor at other stores has proven that the gun-shy types had a point).

    EFCA is a game changer.
