This cell phone was my old one that I lost the charger to, I wanted to get it on again and I used this method.

if the longer you leave it the longer it would charge how long is too long

I have a sony ericsson xperia x10, good phone except it only charges when it wants to, ive heard lots of problems with this phone for charging..... So dont buy a sony ericsson LoL
