This is long awaited Hot Rod Ufly. Custom Hot Rod Ufly is upgraded to RX2428 receiver/gyro, 18A ESC and Turbo Ace 36611 high performance BL motor.
What is the difference between the 3 models of Uflys?
1. Stock Ufly- Weaker gyro on board the stock RX2424A, stock lower AMP ESC, stock BL motor, analog tail servo- Weak tail authority with weak gyro, slow analog tail servo and weaker brushless motor.
2. Custom Hot Rod Ufly- 2 cell version HH gyro RX2428, conversion plugs, 18A ESC and includes high torque upgraded Turbo Ace 36611 brushless 2s motor and fast digital tail servo. 2 cell version is for intermediate to advanced pilot. It comes with great power but not so powerful to a point that it is hard to control.
3. Custom Hot Rod Ufly- 3 cell version HH gyro RX2428, conversion plugs, 18A ESC and includes high torque upgraded Turbo Ace 35409 brushless 3s motor and fast digital tail servo. 3 cell version is for super advanced pilot. It comes with the maximum power allowed and can be difficult to control for intermediate pilots.
The Ufly is a dream come true for fix pitch pilots and you can further make the Ufly a high performance fix pitch heli. Beats any of the fix pitch helis we have ever seen. The reason is, this is the very first variable pitch shaft drive tail heli ever available to the market. The stock gyro can be upgraded to further improve the tail authority of this heli. Upgrade receiver/gyro will be the 4G6 or the 4#6 receiver hm-4g6-z-39receiverfor4g6.aspx and the Feigao 18A ESC. Go to fg-blesc-18afiegaobl18aesc-2-4s.aspx This combination has been tested and flies excellent. The stock ESC will not function with the 4G6 receiver so the Feigao 18A will be necessary. Also you need 3 of each connector to convert the plugs of the 3 servos so they will be able to be plugged into the 4G6/4#6 receiver. Go to walkeraservotoreceiverconnector.aspx and walkerabrushlessmotorconnector.aspx The 4#6 is a 4 channel receiver and you can use your stock WK-2401, 2402, /2602 or 2801 radio.
Hi, is it compatible with 2603 transmitter? I have a genius and M120 and I'm giving up to fly because I don't want something very hard at this moment. I'm used to play with heli flybar toys. Will I have the same good experience with this upgraded version or is better buy the stock one? Thanks!!!

How long you been flying rc helis, because I have this one(UFLY) also, and I cant do forward flight on it yet..it gets away from me...And then when I try to hold it in a long hover, it wants to fly forward on its own!!! Did you have these issues with your UfLY, or no? I flew a MAD HAWK 300 before this one..

"...this is the very first variable pitch shaft drive tail heli ever available to the market. ..."
Not to put too fine a point on it, but this isn't quite true. Walkera's Dragonfly 22D "Intruder FP" also had a shaft drive and was available new until a couple years ago. The shaft gears stripped easily (like they did on their DF35 CP heli), and they (with most manufacturers) dropped shafts and went with belts. Now shafts are making a come-back as torque tubes.
The UFly is a nice heli.
