@dagasfriend The Rock-a-Teens sung Woo Hoo back in 1959. The Revillos are credited for Yeah Yeah despite it having the same 12 Bar Chord Sequence. It was available from 1980 on their album Rev Up.
The 5678's didn't record Woo Hoo until the mid 1990's, reaching a mass audience in 2003 due to it featuring in the Kill Bill movie.
This version is from 1994.
