Woody Itson and Tim Judge get rad on the kick ramp, then Tim shows his amazing jumping skills.

Make sure you watch the 1st part of this video as it shows Woody's radical flatland skills.

Video taken on 2/85 in Burlington, NC. Old school BMX freestyle lives!

Comment from the announcer, Randy Bowser:

"Wow, how awesome, This is Randy Bowser here, the annoucer and tour manager way back then, you know this was the very first show we did on the 1985 tour. Mike D. had a skatepark contest in Upland, Ca. that weekend and so Tim Judge filled in. What awesome memories. I reemember it like it was yesterday. Thanks
The Bowz"

  • Pretty funny how much BMX or Freestyle has come in 23 years. Just amazing. Does anybody remember Stu Thompson? I met him when I was about 11, he was about 24 and a bicycle God, racing. My Redline cost me $476.00 in about 1982. My Hutch cost me $488 in 1984. My Trek 6500 Mtn. bike cost me $600+ in 1995 and I rode if form Gainesville FLA to Seattle, 43 days, 3100 miles. Yes, I am crazy, and no I haven't ridden a bike since that trip.

  • Flat bottom landings goddam crazy bastards

  • Bomb threat at 2:40...

  • I love the kid at 4:30 walking across the screen in a michael jackson jacket. I loved this stuff as a kid growing up in the 80's.

  • Jumping to flat, SOOO old school I love it! I actually snapped my Trickstar doing a Judge to flat in 1989, it wasn't as Rad as Timmy's version.

  • I always wanted a pink trickstar, but settled on a gt pro performer, built piece by piece of course. Before that i had racing bikes, redline,cw,hutch,gt,as we had a track about an hour away. It was rad..

  • i have a 1989 HUTCH JUDGE II . they only sold the fork and frame in 1990 again, but i got the handle bar to. back then it was 200 for the frame. im selling handle bars and frame and fork , offer if u would like to buy. ill send u a pick of it if u email me on youtube.

  • yeah.. I would kill for a candy-apple red Trickstar even today. I wanted one so bad when I was 13 but my parents couldn't afford it. My mom finally shelled out the bucks for a chrome 85' Hutch Pro Racer. I loved it! Later on when I got my own job, I bought a neon green Haro Master frame and built it up. I was the coolest kid in the neighborhood!

  • I also have a Hutch Pro Racer to this day, in great condition, I took care of it. Went to Stilicoom High School in Washinton State for 9th grade only. Kid in school or my neighborhood was named Hutch Hutchinson, he also had a hutch, he was a dick, I didn't ever even try to get to know him, but it was so funny, Hutch Hutchinson with a Hutch bicycle. I loved those bikes, wish I had the cranks and pedels and hubs. Never bought those.

  • yes i think you mean groundbreaking and legenary not quite FUNNY.The Judge and Woody are legends ........ cant say ive ever heard of yourself however.

  • That's actually pretty impressive, good to see the pros back then wore helmets...

    Nice kick-out thingy.
