It's a lot harder to do when the person is actually hurt though.

@live2dance72 OMG! She did?
-
My teacher did that to me when I broke my wrist at school and she did it differently and it worked really good until I got to emergencey

I have a commercial sling from when I had my Carpal Tunnel Release (CTR) surgery.
My hand wasn't higher than my heart, but it's likely different for sprains vs. a cutting of the wrist like they did in CTR.
The surgeon specifically stated that he wants my arm (and hand) exactly horizontal and not to tilt it.
-
that's badly done; the bandage should be lain over the arm, not the other way around!
-
she reversed the sling, and where is the bandage securing them in place. The point of the sling is to immobilize the wound, she can still move it at that point.
-
what is she doing - an elevated or support sling - guys if you are going to promote your training get the demo right

this woman is slacking!
i would twist the end and tuck in and not use a pin

Also remember to recheck the patients circulation. Do a bilateral comparison of the circulation- un-injured arm to the injured arm.
