As part of the General Electric Leadership at Work Series, team Alternative Solutions proposed to plant a green roof on Bird Library. Green "living roofs" cut energy costs and improve efficiency, particularly during harsh winters and summers.
Team members included Adam Davidson, Brandon Goodnow, Anton Pepe, Naresh "Vissa" Rammohan, and Shehtaaz Zaman.
The University will consider the plan.
