@gman197 I got a shiny solrock on pokemon white. red garados on soulsilver. and shiny gastly on platinum. I didnt use poke radar at all.

My current top 3 is:
1) Voltorb - 157 - 3 Shinies
2) Vulpix (8% encounter rate) - 114 - 7 Shinies
3) Larvitar - 106 - 5 Shinies
I also got a Murkrow chain up to 101, Flaaffy to 98 and a few others between 70 and 90.
I stopped chaining months ago, though. I prefer hunting them the hard way xD

I don't and even can't use AR codes, all my shinies are fully legit.
