@brandxdog7 You must be new to model railroading. DC current is supplied by the power pack (which is out of shot) and carried through the rails where the locomotive wheels pick up the current which power the engine motors which power each locomotive

@jmm2000 that is ICTF the LA intermodal container transfer facility in Wilmington, California UP and BNSF load up here every day containers go in trailers and imports go out.
