Comfortably Numb Improvisation - Sam Coulson

my favourite solo of all time is Mr Gilmours jaw dropping 3rd solo on Comfortably Numb from Pink Floyds album entitled The Wall. I think the underlying chord progression realy lets him open up and play some amazing minor key licks, of course another of my favourite guitarists Paul Gilbert had his wicked way with the same chords on the Racer X classic Technical difficulties also known as Metal Dog

So i descided to just jam the whole thing and improvise partly due to the fact that nobody can play it as well as David Gilmour and also because i find it more fun just seeing what i can come up with

i tried to vary it about a bit with bluesy licks aswell as some complex fast stuff, but i tried to keep it tastefull i hope it comes across that way. ive found myself trying to copy Joe Bonamassa with the use of my fingers and thumb plucking the strings to get a nice twangy tone in places.
