Without a doubt, the Fine and Performing Arts Department's presentation of the musical URINETOWN is hands down one of the best MCLA productions to ever hit the Venable Theatre stage. In a mere 10 weeks, Theatre professor Laura Standley has taken a handful of students and molded them into an exceptional cast. Students who were once just actors or once just singers excelled by leaps and bounds to become something more. Earlier this semester, the same cast of students presented the musical, The Three Penny Opera-- the advancements made from then to now are almost sublime. Check out this video to hear what Standley had to say about her performance class this semester.
