If you're from Tobacco Road, this is one of those "Where were you?" moments.

I was watching in a bar outside Chapel Hill. 1/2 the bar was Duke fans, the other 1/2 was UNC fans rooting for UK. When Woods hit his shot, the UNC half of the bar went NUTS.

I almost left the bar in disgust, but a fellow Duke fan said "Just stay". Then when Laettner hit his miracle shot, the Duke half of the bar just EXPLODED.

From the agony of defeat to the ecstasy of victory, all in a split second. Crazy.

my parents (both duke grads) were at this game. my dad had a full cup of coke that he threw in the air after laettner made the shot...drenched all the kentucky fans who were sitting behind him...

they still can't believe to this day that they saw live one of the greatest moments in college basketball history...

duke big man during the Krzyzewski era, he won many College game and made college competitive stage , he turned 92 title game against Mechigan, he made history

@gamblerjag What was amazing was the entire play...and although I wouldn't call that fade-away with a defender in your face a 50% shot, you can't deny that the inbound pass may have been the most challenging & amazing part of this play.
