David Gilmour isn't negative, especially about Syd, Syd couldn't do it anymore and David was asked to take his place and he did. Read further history and you will see that Syd and David were good friends, in different bands as well

my dad was there he was still prety young and when they played money everyone threw money on the stage, so did my dad. when the concert finished he realized he has a few pennys and so he brought soda and some cookies, he couldn't pay the rent so he found a big construction pipe. he got into it and fell asleep. i loved that story there is more to it but i'm too lazy to type :))

this is an old french show, it appears to be a dubbed version for the bbc, the funny thing is that it's dubbed by the show host himself i recognize his voice
