DebTruth has been doing some digging on the issue of who benefits when GM gets bailed out. It's an interesting topic and so I did some research about Chrysler because Chrysler is a slightly different scenario in that they are owned by Cerberus Capital Management. There are a couple tools on the internet that you can use to look at who runs a public company and what those people do, and also to see what firms they employ and in what capacity. I used Muckety (link below) to find out the organizational structure of Cerberus and it shows you who's involved and what they do. There are a lot of lobbyists and lobbying firms involved with Cerberus, and if you use OpenSecrets (link below) you can find out who lobbied for whom and how much they got. Also you can find out how much Cerberus or Chrysler allocated for lobbying efforts.
For finding out organizational structures and who's involved:

For finding out what elected officials got and from whom, and who lobbied for what:

no problem, it's a great resource.

if I wasn't working I'd consider it but since I still have a job it's kind of difficult, but I'll see what I can do.
